Promote Humane Education With TeachKind's Humane Education Brochure

Many of you have written beautiful letters and e-mail messages of appreciation to TeachKind. We always love receiving them—please keep them coming! Considering how important humane education is in creating a compassionate world for people and animals and how great a resource TeachKind has been for you, imagine how thankful your colleagues would be to learn about us. So please tell them!

To aid you in doing this, we have created a humane education brochure that explains what humane education is and how it benefits students and the community and mentions the services that TeachKind offers. Please order free quantities of our humane education brochure to distribute to all the educators, librarians, and school administrators you know.

Here are some tips for distributing the brochures:

• The more personal your approach the better. Hand the fliers to your colleagues and tell them how you have used TeachKind's resources and how the students have responded to them. Encourage them to incorporate humane education into their classroom, order free materials, and join the TeachKind Network by visiting TeachKind.org.
• Give the brochure to all the educators, librarians, and administrators at your school. Put a brochure in the boxes of each educator, librarian, and administrator at your school. Draw their attention to the brochure by including a cover letter that explains how you and your students have benefited from TeachKind's services. We have written a sample cover letter that you can model your letter after.
• Leave copies of the brochure in the teachers' lounge. Or post them up on a teachers' bulletin board.
• Mail to other educator friends. Include a personalized note modeled after our sample cover letter.
• Distribute them at educator conferences. If you are staffing a booth, giving a presentation, or simply attending an educational conference, order enough brochures to distribute to booth patrons, audience members, or other educators with whom you interact.
• Distribute them at teacher training or any other educator gatherings.
