“The Link” sticker emphasizes the fact that people who abuse animals are also more likely to be violent toward people. It encourages students and faculty members to take animal abuse seriously, as it can be an indicator of future violence toward humans.

Suggested Uses: Place the sticker in prominent places in your classroom, school office, and counselor’s office to remind students and faculty members to take animal issues seriously. The stickers effectively reinforce the messages of other humane education programs, such as Share the World for elementary students and Beyond Violence for students in grades 6 and up. You may also want to order the corresponding poster.

Distribute the stickers to other educators to make them aware of the free violence-prevention materials available at TeachKind.org. At parent-teacher conferences, give parents the sticker and the “Raise Kind Kids” leaflet, which is also available for free from TeachKind.
