Food Is Elementary
(Ages 4-13)
This must-have book by Dr. Antonia Demas contains 28 lesson plans for students in preschool through second grade and those in third through eighth grade. This course is receiving rave reviews from educators for its innovative approach, which relies on experiential learning and interdisciplinary studies. Its hands-on approach helps engage all the students’ senses as they learn about whole foods, nutrition, and cooking. This curriculum is successfully being used in several states, including Hawaii, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Florida, California, and New York.

“Meet Your Meat” Lesson (Ages 13-18 and College adult)
This lesson not only explores the nutritional aspects of our diet, but also examines how our food choices affect the environment and the lives of animals.
