FAQs

What does it cost?

There is no cost for schools that qualify in our pilot program.

What do we get?

Schools that choose to participate will get:

• Support from TeachKind Science educators every step of the way.

• Humane, non-animal teaching methods (e.g., Kind Frog, digital dissection, virtual reality tools, and anatomical models).

• Accompanying lesson plans.

• Standardized evaluation surveys for students and teachers to complete.

What grade levels is this for?

All grades are welcome!

Why should we replace animal dissection?

Cruelty to animals perpetrated by dissection-supply companies

• Health hazards of exposing students to animal cadavers soaked in carcinogenic preservatives

• Squandering of limited funds on repeat purchases of dead animals

• Likelihood of deterring students (especially girls) from pursuing careers in science due to their ethical objections to dissecting animals.

By partnering with TeachKind Science in our pilot program, you can help tackle these challenges and be part of a groundbreaking effort to modernize science education.
